New Birth Visit

When your baby is between 10 and 14 days, a home visit will be offered with your named Health Visitor.

The focus of this visit is the health and wellbeing of you, your baby and the wider family. We will ask about your emotional wellbeing and discuss feeding and relationship building, transition to parenthood and sleep.

We will also provide you with information on all the local child and family services on offer and support you to contact them.

If you need support for you and your baby, please have a look through the links and resources below.  You can also contact us directly for further advice or if you would like to speak to a Health Visitor.

Key information for you and your baby is available in our birth pack.
